SANTA’S WORKSHOP

Step into the magic…

Discover the brand new Santa’s Workshop for 2025, right in the heart of the Lower Gardens and next to Santa’s Express in front of the historic Bandstand. This authentic Alpine Workshop will be alive with festive fun all season long, from creative craft workshops and cookie decorating to story time sessions, Christmas film screenings and visits from your favourite festive characters. Keep an eye out for the man in red himself as he drops by to join in the merriment throughout the season.

Looking for a cosy stop on your walk through Christmas Tree Wonderland? Santa’s Workshop will be stocked with Christmas mementos as well as hot and cold drinks, making it the perfect place to pause and soak up the festive spirit.

Kids Craft Classes

Get creative this Christmas with our festive craft classes in the Alpine Lodge. From cookie decorating and lantern making to Christmas cards and handmade decorations, there’s something new to try each weekend. Christmas Characters

Step into a world of festive magic as your children’s favourite Christmas characters come to life. From Elsa and Olaf to Santa and his cheerful Elves, you’ll find them spreading joy throughout the market every Saturday and Sunday morning, with special appearances at select times during the season. Capture the moment, share a hug, and enjoy a little extra sparkle as these beloved guests bring Christmas cheer to families of all ages.

Visits from Santa

Experience the magic of a white Christmas right in the heart of town with our enchanting snowfall moments at Bournemouth Christmas Market. Watch as snowflakes drift through the air and transform The Square into a festive wonderland, creating the perfect backdrop for photos and family memories. Keep an eye out for scheduled snowfall times throughout the week and let it snow, no matter the weather.

Xmas Movies

In Santa’s Workshop, settle in for Christmas movie mornings with childhood festive classics on the big screen. Expect cosy vibes, singalong moments and plenty of festive feels as your favourite characters light up the room. Bring the family, grab a hot chocolate, snuggle into your seat and let the nostalgia roll.

The Great Xmas Trail

Embark on our magical Christmas Trail for your chance to win a family holiday, thanks to Shorefield Holidays. Pick up your festive activity booklet from the Alpine Lodge, Santa’s Workshop or Skate Ice Rink and follow the trail through the market, solving clues and spotting Christmas surprises along the way.
